10/05/08 - Redshift Rebels, Aaron Shrimption, Misc.
Much Redshift activity at the moment. I am knee deep in the design/coding of their new web site (the php is killing me), and I have finished setting up the domains/servers etc. Peep the holding page which gives a hint to the overall appearance of the finished article: redshiftrebels.com
Also, Redshift's next night of live music (dubbed 'Subtone') will take place on the 26th of June featuring two of my former crackpuppet band mates in their debut as Locking Horns. I will DJ in the bar for a couple hours playing my usual mix of hip-hop and electronic music. Take a look at the flyer.

I am going to be designing and coding a web-site for Aaron Shrimption, a film maker and illustrator who is responsible for the mighty video for Yila's single 'Astronaut'. It'll be a very small, basic collection of his work initially and will be expanded in the future. I think he needs another site too, but I can't really decipher that from his emails...

10/03/08 - Time Out, Redshift, Platforms.
Hello. Following my coverage of Saul Williams' show at Cargo last month, Time Out have been in touch with the promoter of the show. Time Out are currently compiling a new guide and it will feature the London Word Festival and one of my photographs of Saul Williams.
I am currently in the process of designing and coding a whole new web site for Redshift, including arranging the hosting. I keep finding myself staring at Illustrator for hours while working on a layout only to realise its all looking very 'American Apparel'. Once a new server has been arranged I will start on the nuts and bolts of the project, working with PHP and MySQL for the first time.
I have been working with ASP a great deal at work in the last month or so, as we have a Microsoft platform and use Access databases, so soon I will be working in PHP at home and ASP at work... I hope my brain can keep track.
Finally, I have been featured in Platforms Magazine for the third time - this time it is a collection of shots taken with a Leica M6 in London and Brussels....

12/02/08 - scroobiuspip.co.uk
I have uploaded a new Scroobius Pip web-site. It is very slim on information, as his personal myspace and the le sac vs pip myspace are far better for that... What it does have, is many of my my photographs of him, some never seen before.

10/02/08 - Redshift and Saul Williams
1. Redshift's next free 'subtone' night takes place on the 29/02/08 at 93 Feet East, London. I will be DJing in the bar along with P-Tek and Small Animals (my appearance was decided after the flyer was produced, so I do not appear on it...
2. Saul Williams appears at Cargo, London, on the 25/02/08 with support from Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip. I have a photo pass. I'll upload anything good.

05/02/08 - Update
Just a quick update - I have removed podcasts for a while to let my bandwidth recover, and so I can concentrate on getting more photography uploaded.

20/01/08 - Funk & Soul Podcast.
To coincide with the 'launch' of the revised layout and increased content I have put together a fresh new podcast.
Its a collection of sampled funk and soul and features the likes of The Winstons, Sly & The Family Stone and even Issac Hayes.
I uploaded it today - if you have already subscribed you should get it automatically. New subscribers will not see it for a couple of days.

17/01/08 - Reworked.
The previous version wasn't working as it should... The photo gallery was a little bit buggy and dominated the entire page drawing attention from the text. Also, after setting up and skinning the WordPress package (after hearing many good things) I didn't really like it. And as I'm the only one who updates it isn't required.
Web-Site aside, I have a few things in the pipeline. Scroobius Pip's web-site is still hosted on my server and until anything else needs to be done to it I'll be rotating the photos. There is more on the subject of Scroob photos, but that will come later.
In a couple of months I will dip my toe into the world of Wedding photography. I'm nervous.

13/12/07 - Best of 2007 Podcasts
With no more significant releases for 2007, I have collected my favourite tracks from the year and put them into 3 podcasts.
The first part is available now and features Radiohead, Deerhoof, Battles, Grinderman and more.
Part 2 is a more electronic affair and will be up in the next week or so, with part 3 - all hip-hop - following just after Christmas.
